He could not do any active work afterwards and lost all that he possessed. Recently, he sold the last truck that was left and is currently unemployed. His job nowadays is more of a work on the streets. Therefore, it is not possible for us to present any supporting documents like employer’s statement etc. I belong to a tribal region(FATA) in Pakistan. My father has inherited a small house in our village but we do not pay any taxes as tribesmen are exempted from paying any taxes. Most of my relatives are against the concept of education. Girls are not even given any education. Very few boys are lucky enough to be educated. Under the crucial financial circumstances, it was difficult to face the resistance put up by our relatives. My education and that of my siblings has only been made possible through the numerous merit and need-based scholarships. I am on scholarship in Lyceum School and my sister, Afshin Alaf Khan, is recently studying in Pomona College, USA with full aid. As much as I want to have access to the best quality education, I am also aware of the financial hurdles that lie in my path. I have traveled this far with the aim of giving myself the best education and my institutions supported me financially. I believe that financial problems will never put an end to what I have aimed for, i.e., best and better education than what I have access to here .It is difficult for my family to contribute much towards my educational expenses especially when there are other basic necessities that have to be fulfilled. So I wanted to inquire whether I can be financially assisted. I do not want to end up education just because I did not had the money! I will be extremely grateful for your help. I have recently been offered a place in University of New South Wales(UNSW) for an Undergraduate program ,i.e Bachelor in Economics. As you may know that UNSW is not only one of the best institution in Australia but it is also ranked as on of the top University in the world. This is my dream. But as I have informed you earlier too that my parents are not financially strong and therefore they cannot assist me. So I ask you to please help me. I believe that I deserve the best quality education but I might be deprived of it because of lack of finance. This is my belief not pride. I have no where to look but to ask you for help. I have been through the Australian government website but I am not eligible for any of the scholarships available. I intend to do my undergraduate degree where as Pakistani students are only offered scholarship for Masters only. I have been searching for possible funding for months but there are none available for international undergraduate students. Please help me at this time of despair. I am lost. I have good grades and extra curricular achievements but I do not have the money to finance my education and as i have told you earlier too that my parents are also helpless in this situation. I request you to consider me and not just ignore my plea as just another email. It was this education that rescued me otherwise I would have been in those remote areas of Pakistan(FATA) holding a gun. Please HELP ME OUT. I will be grateful for your generous help.
